The Parish Plan is on the desk of Archbishop Carlson and has been for a month. He has taken it into discussion with the Priests’ Council, the College of Consultors and the Archdiocesan Finance Council during that time. As we await his final decision, we have our common Catholic life to share and strengthen whether the two parishes merge or remain twins. With the approaching departure of Fr. Lydon, we will need to reduce the number of Masses celebrated between the two parishes. This seems like the opportune moment to pray about the gifts and talents entrusted by the Holy Spirit to the people of both parishes and discern how best to deploy those riches. See the flyer in the bulletin today and please make arrangements to join us Tuesday and Wednesday of Easter Week as we learn about ourselves and move into the future together.
